Ancient building located in the historic town centre of Gualdo, a picturesque hill village in the Municipality of Massarosa, about 15Km from Viareggio.
Today, as a result of several recent renewal interventions, the building shows the typical stone façade representative of the local, spontaneous architecture.
The house consists of 3 floors above ground:
- Ground floor: Entrance/living room, kitchen, bathroom
- First floor: Bedroom + mudroom
- Second floor: Bedroom + contiguous room, and the stairway serving the 3 floors.
All the bedroom windows are on the main façade which is oriented westward, looking up at the beautiful panorama of Versilia coastline.
The second-floor rooms show a typical Tuscan cotto half-brick ceiling-roof with ancient girders.
Surrounded by a stone wall, paved with old-looking, self-blocking concrete elements, a large backyard is also part of the house, with a little pergola covering an enjoyable dining area, ideal for refreshing, summer evening dinners, and equipped with a useful, little utility room with external access.
The gross area of the building is about 110m², while the backyard area is about 50m².
